2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee: The Muscle Truck Returns
The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee signals Ram’s bold return to the high-performance pickup segment, reviving the spirit of the iconic SRT-10 and creating an all-new muscle truck subsegment. Developed by SRT Performance, the Rumble Bee lineup targets enthusiasts who want the thrill of American muscle car performance combined with the practicality of a full-size pickup.

The lineup includes four HEMI-powered variants. The standard Rumble Bee is equipped with a 5.7-litre HEMI V-8 producing 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, delivering strong acceleration and classic V-8 character. The Rumble Bee 392 introduces the first-ever 6.4-litre HEMI V-8 in the Ram 1500 platform, producing 470 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque for significantly enhanced performance. A Track Pack version adds performance-focused hardware, including an electronically locking rear differential for improved traction during aggressive launches and track driving.

At the top of the range sits the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT, powered by a supercharged 6.2-litre Hellcat HEMI V-8 generating an astonishing 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. This makes it the most powerful production V-8 pickup ever offered. Performance figures include a targeted 0–60 mph sprint of 3.4 seconds, an 11.6-second quarter-mile at 116 mph, and a top speed of 170 mph.

Built exclusively in Quad Cab short-bed configuration, every Rumble Bee benefits from a wheelbase shortened by 13 inches to improve handling and create aggressive, athletic proportions. Massive 325/40R22 tires on 22-inch wheels, paddle shifters, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and active all-wheel drive with rear-drive disconnect reinforce its driver-focused mission.
Despite its performance focus, the Rumble Bee remains practical, offering up to 8,890 pounds of towing capacity and 1,160 pounds of payload. Production begins in late 2026, while the 392 and SRT variants arrive in early 2027, reestablishing Ram as a dominant force in performance trucks.
